The Yamaha four-stroke V-MAX SHO 90hp is the lightest model in the internationally renowned V-MAX range.
Tuned by Yamaha to deliver unexpected wild performance and acceleration with a blistering top speed, it’s the most exciting way to get out on the water to satisfy your sporting instincts.
In technical terms, the V-MAX SHO is a masterpiece of engineering craftsmanship. In order to achieve the results we wanted (low weight with high performance) our engineers came up with a single overhead camshaft format, with four large valves per cylinder and a special long-track intake manifold, which has shown to work fantastically.

The long-track intake manifold is another special feature of the V MAX SHO, specially designed to boost out-of-the-hole performance as well as torque, acceleration and top speed.

High-power 35 Amp alternator
We want to make sure that you never lack power for starting, battery charging or running accessories when you’re out on the water, which is why we equip the V MAX SHO 90hp with a three-phase alternator.

Variable Trolling RPM (option)
Trolling speed adjustment from 550-1,000 RPM in 50 RPM increments. Ideal for fishing or when navigating waterways, marinas or speed limit areas. Trolling speed can be set to 200 RPM below idle speed.
